]]> Crafted in GEWA’s new workshop with the most advanced computer-controlled CNC machines in the history of musical instrument making. Many handmade instruments are often inconsistent in shape, curvature, and thickness, the elements that determine tone quality and playability. While the mater makers take advantage of that to create instruments that match their creative freedom and skilled player’s musical needs, this is not always the most ideal for student and teachers. With our combination of traditional handwork, European tone wood, and computer-aided crafting method, our L’Apprenti and Ostenbach lines of instruments deliver a level of consistency and tone quality that redefines the price range.

We meticulously craft Ostenbach VC4 from a select European spruce and a highly flamed European maple for tonal and visual superiority. The white instruments, perfectly carved to the tried-and-true specifications passed down for generations, are hand-applied with antiqued spirit varnish by specially trained luthiers.
